Description

Bear Haven is a great getaway for couples, families and extended families. With only five steps to the main floor, entry is easy. It is decorated with bears, moose and fish to give you that mountain feeling. The chalet features a master bedroom with a king size bed. Two more bedrooms feature queen size log beds, plus there's a queen size sleeper sofa in the den. It can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests and it is pet friendly so you don’t have to leave that special member of your family behind!

On the main floor is the den, kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bath, a laundry closet and a screened deck. Upstairs is the loft area, the master bedroom and another full bath.

In the den, with its high ceilings, you can curl up on the comfy couch, relax on the loveseat, get cozy by the fireplace, watch TV or a movie, read a book, listen to your favorite CD or visit with family and friends. Meal time will be a pleasure. The well equipped kitchen, decorated with an apple theme, has everything you need to prepare anything from a bedtime snack to a full meal. If grilling is more to your liking, the gas grill is ready and waiting on the screened deck.

Each of the two bedrooms on the main floor have queen size log beds with a TV and DVD player – one bedroom is moose themed and the other has a fishing theme. The moose themed bedroom also has a game system. The bathroom on this floor has a two person whirlpool tub with an overhead shower and is also decorated with a fishing theme.

The large screened deck is a great place to kick back and relax. Listen for the Dollywood train whistle in the distance. You can even see one of the ski slopes at Ober Gatlinburg in the far distance. It is well furnished with an inviting hot tub, two rocking chairs, a swing and a gas grill. You can’t help but feel all the stress of daily living slipping away while taking in the fantastic view of Mt. LeConte – the third highest peak within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Upstairs, in the loft, is a pool table, a TV with a DVD player and another game system. The bear themed master bedroom has a king size bed, a TV and a DVD player. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and continues the bear theme.
